This summer has looked and felt a little different. Our hearts have been with our Texas community, and that’s shaped how I’ve moved through these past few weeks. We have felt more intentional, more grateful, and deeply aware of the small things that bring us joy.
The Hamptons has always been a place where you can say yes to something fun every day. Tennis at 9, a farm stand run at 11, lunch at Duryea’s, and a pop-up party by sunset. I meet the most interesting, inspiring, badass women here every summer. People who are building cool things, doing big things, and showing up with purpose. It’s hard not to feel energized by it all.
But it’s also a place to slow down. Our favorite nights are the quiet ones. Catching fireflies, riding bikes, family rummikub, making s’mores on the beach, and watching the sunset while our Bernadoodle, Bea, runs wild. There’s always something going on but the magic is in choosing your pace.
This has also been a big season for ERLY. We’ve had pop-ups, facials, founder events, and new retail launches. But nothing has made me smile more than seeing our ERLY jeep all over town. The photos, the oohs and awws—it warms my heart every time.
On that note, I wanted to share my quick Hamptons Summer Guide of what I’ve been loving lately. There are truly endless places to eat, shop, move, and unwind out East. I could list twenty in every category. But in the spirit of keeping my summer simple, I’ve narrowed it down to the spots and routines I keep coming back to. The ones that make this place feel like home.
EAT & REPEAT
Sagaponack General Store
An absolute must. The breakfast sandwich has officially made my list of last meals on earth. I stop by constantly for coffee, snacks, and the best pesto chicken salad. It somehow manages to feel both old-school and fresh at the same time. It also doubles as our neighborhood post office, so I check my mail with each morning visit.
Camp Rubirosa (East Hampton)
Our go-to for pizza nights. The tie-dye pie is iconic, and the outdoor setup is the perfect mix of nostalgic and chic. When we stay closer to home, it’s Sag Main Pizza with a Buddha Berry or BonBon trip after. It's a family ritual at this point.
Duryea’s (Montauk)
Long lunches or casual dinners—it always hits. We usually get the lobster Cobb salad which I swear you can split with 20 people, but let’s be honest, I’m really there for the fries. The view is classic Montauk, and no surprise, this place ends up on my list every single summer.
Swifty’s at The Hedges Inn (East Hampton)
Go for the vibe. It's beautiful and buzzy, like stepping into a Slim Aarons photo. The service can be slow, but I don’t mind. Worth it for the setting alone. And yes, I’m now convinced I need a Nick Mele photograph on my Christmas list.
Round Swamp, Balsam Farms & Amber Waves
Round Swamp is my spot for dips, sides, and beach-night essentials. Balsam is my go-to for produce—and their pickles are something else. I bring them to every gathering. And I love Amber Waves too: a female-founded, nonprofit farm that’s as mission-driven as it is beautiful. When my kids were younger, they took part in garden classes there. Their market, flowers, and community vibe is the very best.
Estia’s Little Kitchen
Estia’s just feels like home. There’s something about it that reminds me of Austin in the best way. It’s unfussy, always fresh, and the guac is money. We usually go for brunch, but it’s great any time of day. Chill vibe, amazing food, and never trying too hard.
WHERE I’M SHOPPING
Sag Harbor
Sag is where I go to wander. Doen and TWP are always staples, but I’ve discovered a few new favorites too. Living with Ivey is such a beautifully curated shop—I always leave with something I didn’t know I needed. Of course, Goop is always worth a stop. MONC XIII is one of my favorite places to browse, especially their fragrance section. Ask for Albert—his knowledge is unreal.
Montauk
Glass is my newest obsession. The most beautifully curated skincare and beauty store—I could spend hours in there. We also always pop into Montauk Mainstay for Max’s (my 9 year old) favorite t-shirts.
East Hampton
My 11-year-old daughter Emmy’s dream zone. Roller Rabbit, Aviator Nation, Mad Happy, and White’s Apothecary are all must-visits. For me, it’s Tenet for cool staples, Loewe for fashion inspiration, and Clic and Unsubscribed for a beautifully edited browse. I also try to pop into Warm in Amagansett when I can. Always a highlight.
Bridgehampton
Relax is our pajama go-to for both me and Emmy. We recently discovered a line they carry called Polkadot England...The fabrics are dreamy! I also met the owner recently and she’s a GEM. Annabelle’s is another can’t-miss. The perfect mix of chic and fun.
WHERE I’M SWEATING
Lifted with Holly
I’m obsessed. Holly is a former WNBA player and her workouts are SO tough but actually fun. It’s strength, cardio, and great energy. I leave feeling so good every single time.
Forward_ _Space
A happy place. Movement, music, sweat, and community. The energy is nothing short of electric! IYKYK. It resets my mood and always leaves me more grounded.
Nordic Strong
This one is new for me and I loved it. It’s resistance-based and inspired by Nordic cross-country skiing. And yes, it totally reminded me of the old-school NordicTrack machines our moms had. But this is way cooler and way more effective. Super unique and really fun.
HAMPTONS SUMMER GUIDE, SIMPLIFIED
This season has been about holding space for a lot of emotions. Gratitude, grief, joy, and everything in between. It’s reminded me to slow down, soak up the little things, and focus on what matters. Whether it’s a peach (or pickles!) from the farm stand, a beach night with friends, or watching our pup live her best life, these are the moments I’ll carry with me.
